We loved our old site, but it was a brochure for what the Music Factory had the potential to become. Now we’re here, with our first venues open and more on the way in the coming months. And we figured it was past time we had a site that reflected this change. Props to the crew at Priceless Misc (you might know them as the guys behind CLT Blog) for making this happen.
Here are the new features we’re most excited about:
Events
We’ve got a complete listing of all the events happening at the NC Music Factory and Uptown Village. You’ll find the closest 5 at the bottom of every page of the new site, and you can see a full listing over on our Events & Tickets page. Events at the Fillmore and the Uptown Amphitheatre will send you to Live Nation for more info and ticket purchase information. Events at Halo and the other venues opening soon will have information available directly on our site.
Blog
The blog is something we haven’t had until now, so we’re looking forward to sharing news and information through here that can’t fit in our Twitter or Facebook updates.
Media
The Media page automatically collects photos from Flickr.com and tweets from Twitter via a variety of search terms. Mention us in your tweets or tag us in your photos, and they’ll show up here!
